Abstract Objective：To understand the hypertensive of prevention and control in community Meizhou district and analyze its associated risk factors then provide the basis for prevention and control of hypertension.Method：A survey on blood pressure was carried out on 2 communities people aged ≥ 15 years old in Meizhou district， from May 2012 to May
2013.Result：342 cases of hypertensive were surveyed among 1043 residents with 32.79% for prevalence of hypertensive. The results of multivariate logistic regression showed that risk factors of hypertensive included the male（OR=1.561），≥ 60 years old（OR=1.543）， family history of hypertention（OR=1.587）， history of drinking（OR=1.463），overweight（OR=1.456），high-salt diets（OR=0.064），and lack of exercise people（OR=1.887）.Conclusion：The prevalence of hypertension is high， risk factors of hypertensive should be reduced through community comprehensive prevention and control of hypertensive.
