Abstract Objective:To observe the effect of sacrospinous ligament fixation on the patients underwent uterine prolapse. Method:Thirty-nine patients underwent uterine prolapse were divided into two groups: observation group and control group. The patients in the observation group were treated with panhysterectomy and sacrospinous ligament fixation under laparoscope. The patients in the control group were only treated with panhysterectomy under laparoscope. The operative bleeding, operation time, hospital stays were recorded in both groups. The incidence of abdominal straining feeling and vaginal fornix bulging after operation were recorded in both groups. The time of a full bladde after operation was recorded in both groups. Result:The operation time in the observation group was longer than that in the control group. The operative bleeding and hospital stays were not significantly different between two groups. The incidence of abdominal
straining feeling and vaginal fornix bulging in the observation group were higher than that in the control group. The time of a full bladde in the observation group was longer than that in the control group. Conclusion:Sacrospinous ligament fixation under laparoscope can enhance the effect of panhysterectomy on the patients underwent uterine prolapse.
