Abstract Objective：To investigate the effects of Sufentanil post-conditioning on renal injury induced by hepatic ischemia-reperfusion in rats.Method：Fifty-four Wista rats were randomly allocated into three groups（n=18）：Sham operation group（S group），hepatic ischemia-reperfusion group（I/R group） and Sufentanil post-conditioning group（SP group）.The rats were killed at the same time to obtain the renal tissue and take blood from the heart after hepatic ischemia 1 hour reperfusion for 2，4 and 6 hours，then tested cystatinC（CysC），observed the pathological changes in renal tissue，detected the expression of Bcl-2 and Bax proteins in kindy by immunohistochemistry and the apoptosis index（AI）of the renal cells was observed by Tunel method.Result：Compared with the S group，CysC，AI and the expression of Bcl-2 and Bax proteins incresed in I/R group and SP group.Compared with the I/R group，CysC，AI and the expression of Bax protein decresed but the expression of Bcl-2 protein incresed in SP group.Conclusion：The protective effects of Sufentanil post-conditioning on renal injury induced by hepatic ischemia-reperfusion in rats may be related to the decresed expression of Bax protein and the incresed expression of Bcl-2 protein.
