Abstract Objective：To investigate the clinical efficacy of one-time root canal treatment of dental disease. Method：200 cases of dental patients were selected in our hospital from August 2013 to February 2014.They were randomly divided into two groups，the control group and observation group，100 cases in each group.The control group patients were treated by multiple root canal treatment， and observation group patients were treated by one-time root canal treatment.The two groups’ clinical treatment efficacy and complications were compared.Result：The observation group’s complications was 4.0%，and the control group’s complications was 26.0%，the difference was statistically significant （P<0.05）；after different surgical treatments，the control group’s total effective rate was 99.0% and observation group’s total effective rate was 84.0%，the differences were statistical significance（P<0.05）.Conclusion：One-time root canal in treatment of dental patients has fewer complications，shorter treatment time，better clinical treatment effect，the overall process is safe and reliable，and patients and families are more satisfied for the treatment，so it is worth to widely used in clinical practice.
