Abstract Objective:To investigate the effect of health education applied in children with pneumonia. Method: 158 cases of children with pneumonia were treated in our hospital from April 2013 to January 2014 were selected and randomly divided into two groups,the control group of 78 cases,were treated routine care measures;the observation group of 80 cases,were treated health education on the basis of comparative.The efficacy of the incidence of complications
and the care satisfaction of the two groups were compared and analyzed.Result:After treatment,two groups of children were discharged, the time of pneumonia X-ray absorptiometry, body temperature normal, cough stop time, duration and so on of the observation group were better than the control group;the incidence of complications in the observation group (6.25%) was lower than the control group(19.23%),the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);the cure rate of the observation group was also significantly higher than the control group,the difference was statistically significant
(P<0.05); the nurses attitude, responsibility, business proficiency and satisfaction of the observation group were higher than the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Health education nurses plays a supporting role to help children develop good habits, to promote children speedy recovery, to help improve the quality of life of patients and to enhance hospital patients nursing satisfaction,it’s worthy of further promotion.
