Abstract Objective: To observe the change pattern of CD4+CD25+ regulatory T cells( Treg) in asthenospermiainfertile patients and the correlation with sperm quality.Method: The peripheral blood and prostatic fluid specimens werecollected from 60 asthenospermia infertile patients as the observation group and 36 healthy volunteers as the control group. The flow cytometry was used to determine the volume of Treg, intracellular transforming growth factor β1( TGF-β1)
and interleukin 10( IL-10) in the peripheral blood and prostatic fluid. The correlation of the above three substances ofsperm viability and motility rate were analysed.Result:Compared with control group, the observation group patients ofTreg, IL-10 and TGF-β1 asthenospermia infertile had significantly lower volume in their peripheral blood and prostatemassage fluid, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There was positive correlation between Treg
and sperm density, vitality and sex hormone levels separately(r>0.075,P<0.05).There was no significant differencein the sperm volume of the two groups. The sperm motility rate, sperm velocity and ATP of the observation group wereall obviously lower than those of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). The Pearsonmethod was used, CD4+CD25+ Treg,TGF-β1 and IL-10 had positive correlation with the index of sperm motility rate,
malformation, velocity, and ATP.Conclusion:The dysimmunity of CD4+CD25+ Treg, which causes excessive damage tothe sperm immunity, is possibly an important immunological mechanism of the asthenospermia infertility.
