Abstract Objective: To explore the method and effect of clinical treatment of ICU patients with severecraniocerebral injury. Method: 82 patients with severe craniocerebral injury in our hospital were randomly selectedfrom January 2010 to January 2013,and were randomly divided into treatment group and control group , 41 cases in
each group. The control group was given conventional treatment, including nutritional support, hemostatic, by loweringthe intracranial pressure, and improved cerebral circulation, glucocorticoid and correct water electrolyte and acid-basebalance, reasonable use of antibiotics and so on, while the treatment group on the basis of conventional therapy, wasgiven the intracranial pressure monitoring, mechanical ventilation, circulation support and mild hypothermia treatmentthe clinical efficacy of the two groups before and after treatment were comparative analyzed.Result:The treatment grouppatients of good were 23 cases, moderate disability, severe disability and plant survival were respectively 8, 6 and 3cases, 1 cases died, the total effective rate was 75.6%.The control group 41 patients treated with good in 15 cases, moderate disability, severe disability and plant survival were respectively 6, 5 and 8 cases, 7 cases died, the total
effective rate was 51.2%. Compared the total efficiency of two groups, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),the effect of the treatment group wassignificantly better than the control group. Conclusion: For patients with severecraniocerebral injury, early diagnosis and treatment, and the treatment of integrated within the ICU, can be achievedremarkable curative effect.
