Abstract To systematically understand the effects of acupuncture and moxibustion on balance dysfunctionafter stroke by sorting out and summarizing recent years’ literature. Respectively， from the theoretical basis and clinicalapplication of traditional Chinese medicine and modern medicine to sum up the characteristics and experience of eachsummarize. To investigate the combination of acupuncture and appropriate treatment methods to balance dysfunction afterstroke evaluation methods and treatment. Also pointed out that research should strengthen basic research in acupuncturetreatment after stroke balance dysfunction in the future.
