Abstract Objective：To know the caries status in preschool children in Changping district.Method：The descriptive statistics method was used to analyze the relative data in Changping Annual Report of 0-6 Years Old Group Child Care from 2006 to 2012.Result：3-6 years old preschool children caries rate increased year by year； the rate of caries started to decrease by 2012 with the development of the free oral fluoride foam to prevent dental caries service from 2010 in Beijing； the rate of new caries increased year by year from 2006 to 2009 up to the rate of 40.14%； it started to decrease from 2010.Conclusion：The oral health care for children in nurseries and kindergartens should be strengthened；children’s dental caries preventive work level should be improved；parents’，teachers’ and children’s health education on caries should be done with enough attention；therefore， the children caries rate and new caries rate could be decreased，and the physical and mental health development of preschool children could be improved.
