Abstract Objective: To evaluate the treatment of T1a renal cell carcinoma between laparoscopic nephronsparing sparing surgery( LNSS) and open nephron-sparing surgery( ONSS). Method: A retrospective analysis of 60 clinical cases including LNSS patients( n=29) and ONSS patients( n=31) was made, comparison were made in clinical indexes between peri-operative bleeding, operative time, postoperative pain scores, postoperative drainage, indwelling time of drainage tube and so on. Result: The LNSS group was significantly less than the ONSS group in peri-operative bleeding, operative time, postoperative pain scores, postoperative drainage, indwelling time of drainage tube( P<0.05). Conclusion: Compared with ONSS group, LNSS is a higher security surgery with little trauma, lower postoperative pain score and shorter operative time, it can be a better way to treat T1a renal cell carcinoma.
