| Influence of the Cognitive Behavior Therapy for Cancer Pain |

Abstract Objective：To explore the influence of the cognitive behavior therapy（CBT） for cancer pain. Method：72 patients including with cancer pain were inrolled in the study， and divided into 42 cases and 30 controls. The CBT was conducted on the 42 cases， but not the controls.The numeric rating scale（ NRS） and/or verbal rating scale（VRS） were used to determine the severity of cancer pain.Result：After the intervention of CBT，the cases’ pain was obviously relieved，and the effective rate of the cases was 80.95% in three days， otherwise，the controls was 50.00%. Conclusion：CBT aims to change the patients’ irrational beliefs， to improve the cognitions of the disease and cancer pain subjectively. So it can relive the pain apparently，and improve the cancer pain treatment efficiency.
