Abstract Objective:To investigate the clinical effectiveness of mifepristone with hemostasis decoction of Chinese herbs for perimenopausal dysfunctional uterine bleeding.Method:112 patients with perimenopausal dysfunctional uterine bleeding who received treatment in our hospital from February 2010 to February 2013 were chosen as the research object. They were divided into combination group and control group by the method of random number table, 56 patients each group. The patients in control group were cured by giving the medicine of mifepristone while the patients in combination group were given the mifepristone and hemostasis decoction of Chinese herbs at the same time. The patients in the two groups were compared in their clinical effectiveness, the changes in the level of intravenous blood hormone including LH( Luteinizing Hormone), FSH( Follicle-Stimulating Hormone), E2( Estrogen) and the Recurrence.Result:All the sex hormone indexes of E2, LH, FSH of the patients in the two groups are remarkably lower than those before treatment( P<0.05). After treatment, the level of E2, LH, FSH in combination group were obviously lower than that in the control group( P<0.05).The clinical cure rate and total effective rate of combination group were respectively 78.57% and 96.43% ,which were higher than the control group of 33.93% and 75.00%( P<0.05).There was not too much difference in adverse reactions between the two groups. However, recurrence of the combination group was remarkably lower than that in control group( P<0.05).Conclusion:During the treatment of perimenopausal dysfunctional uterine bleeding, the application of mifepristone and hemostasis decoction of Chinese herbs can effectively better the level of intravenous blood hormone, improve the clinical symptoms and have curative effect. Thus, it is worth population and application.
