Abstract Objective:To study the correlation of cytokines and allergy in children with asthma.Method:80 children with asthma treated from December 2013 to November 2014 in our hospital were selected and divided into allergic group(41 cases) and non-allergic group(39 cases) according to the confirmation of allergy.Meanwhile, there were 40 healthy controls. The level of IL-5, IFN-γand IL-4 of each group was compared.Result:The level of IL-4,IL-5 and IFN in children with asthma were significantly higher than those of control group(P<0.05).The level of IFN-γand IL-5 of allergic group were significantly higher than those of control group(P<0.05),and the level of IL-4 was not significantly different. The level of IFN-γand IL-5 of allergic group was significantly higher than those of non-allergic group(P<0.05),and the level of IL-4 was not significantly different. Conclusion:The allergy has a greater influence on the level of IL-5 and IFN-γfor children with asthma and the state of the children’s illness.
