Abstract Objective:To study the effect of internal operative fixation with memory alloy on acetabular fractures patients. Method: 20 cases of acetabular fracture patients in our hospital from 2013 to 2014 were selected as the research objects, 10 patients in the surgery group were given open reduction and internal memory alloy fixation treatment,10 patients in the nonsurgical group were given traction conservative treatment. All patients were followed up by one year, they were given reexamination 3 and 8 months after the surgery. All patients’ hip joint function were graded before treatment and 8 months after the surgery. Result:3 months after surgery, walking function of the surgery group was better than that of the non-surgical group(P<0.05).8 months after surgery, hip function scores of the surgery group was significantly higher than that of the non-surgical group(P<0.05).All patients were followed up by one year, there were no occurrence of adverse events, muscle strength of the surgery group was better than that of the non-surgical group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Using internal operative fixation with memory alloy on acetabular fractures patients can get better results for the recovery of hip function.
