Clinical Application of Mechanical Ventilation in Critically Ill Severe Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease |

Abstract Objective: To study the mechanical ventilation in critically ill in the treatment of severe hand, foot and mouth disease clinical application and therapeutic effect. Method:A total of 433 cases of hand, foot and mouth disease were selected from September 2012 to December 2013 in our hospital. On the basis of routine treatment, according to the given mechanical ventilation patients adjuvant therapy, the detection of patients with all the vital signs of change, statistical patients after treatment.Result: The average of white blood cell count in patients was( 14.1 ± 6.9) × 109 / L; the average blood glucose was( 8.4 ± 5.3) mmol / L; PaCO2 average was( 28.9 ± 8.3) mm Hg; CRP average was( 6.89 ± 10.1) mg / L; the rate of effect was 86.8%;the average of ventilator time was(6.5 ± 2.1) h; no change in the patient's condition or even deteriorated were 57 cases (13.2%). Conclusion: Mechanical ventilation is an effective auxiliary treatment, this treatment is worth wide application in the clinical practice and popularization.
