Abstract Objective：To analyze and discuss the best surgery time and its clinical effect of long bone fracture in severe craniocerebral injury patients.Method：120 patients with severe craniocerebral injury and long bone fracture in our hospital from February 2014 to February 2015 were selected and randomly divided into emergency group，group of 7 to 10 days after injury and group of 14 to 42 days after injury according to their different surgery time.The recovery situation of limb function was compared among the three groups.Result：There was no difference between the emergency group and group of 7 to 10 days after injury in the recovery situation of limb function（P>0.05）.The recovery situation of limb function in the emergency group and group of 7 to 10 days after surgery was better than that in group of 14 to 42 days after injury，the difference was statistically significant（P<0.05）.Conclusion：The best operation time of severe craniocerebral injury combined with long bone fracture should be chosen according to the actual situation of trauma. If the patient's vital signs are stable， choosing surgery for the long bone fracture as soon as possible is good for the early functional exercise and recovery.
