Abstract Objective:To observe and investigate the effect of traditional Chinese and Western medicine on the inflammatory indexes of chronic pelvic inflammatory disease. Method:64 patients with chronic pelvic inflammatory disease in our hospital from June 2013 to June 2014 were selected and randomly divided into the observation group and the control group, with each group 32 patients. The observation group was treated with traditional Chinese and Western medicine, while the control group was treated with Western medicine alone. The clinical efficacy and the levels of inflammatory indexes of the two groups were observed and compared. Result: The total clinical effective rate of the observation group was better than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Before treatment, the differences in the expression levels of inflammatory between the two groups were not statistically significant(P>0.05). After treatment, the levels of TNF-α,TGF-β1,IL-8 and IL-1β in the observation group were lower than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05). Conclusion:The traditional Chinese and Western medicine in the treatment of chronic pelvic inflammatory disease has a high effective rate and the improvement of the clinical inflammatory indexes are better,so it is worthy of clinical application.
