| Clinical Study on Zhenwu Decoction and Tingli Dazao Xiefei Decoction Combined with Acupoint Application in the Treatment of Heart Failure with Yang Deficiency and Flooding Syndrome |

Abstract Objective: To analyze the effect of Zhenwu Decoction and Tingli Dazao Xiefei Decoction combined with acupoint application in the treatment of heart failure with yang deficiency and flooding syndrome. Method: A total of 100 patients with heart failure with yang deficiency and flooding syndrome admitted to Heshan Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from January to December 2021 were selected and divided into a control group and a treatment group according to the random number table method, with 50 cases in each group. The control group was given routine western medicine + Zhenwu Decoction and Tingli Dazao Xiefei Decoction, and the treatment group was given routine western medicine + Zhenwu Decoction and Tingli Dazao Xiefei Decoction combined with acupoint application. The cardiac function, 6-minutes walk test (6MWT), activity of daily living scale (ADL), Minnesota living with heart failure questionnaire (MLHFQ), TCM symptom scores and total effective rate were compared between the two groups. Result: After treatment, the brain natriuretic peptide (BNP), N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP) and left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) in the treatment group were better than those in the control group (P<0.05), but there were no significant differences between the two groups in left ventricular end systolic diameter (LVESD) and left ventricular end diastolic diameter (LVEDD) (P>0.05). After treatment, the 6MWT and ADL in the treatment group were higher than those in the control group, while the scores of MLHFQ and TCM symptoms were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). The total effective rate in the treatment group (96.00%) was higher than that in the control group (78.00%) (P<0.05). Conclusion: The application of Zhenwu Decoction and Tingli Dazao Xiefei Decoction combined with acupoint application in the treatment of heart failure with yang deficiency and flooding syndrome can optimize the curative effect, improve patients' cardiac function, alleviate clinical symptoms and significantly improve patients' quality of life and ability of daily living.
