Literatures Study on the Treatment of Chronic Bacterial Prostatitis with Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine |

Abstract ..[Abstract] Objective: In recent years, the incidence of chronic bacterial prostatitis has gradually increased, but there are few comprehensive literatures related to it. This literatures aims to provide help for further research on the treatment of chronic bacterial prostatitis by collecting and integrating the literatures on the treatment of chronic bacterial prostatitis in the past 20 years. Method: The literatures of CNKI, VIP Chinese science and Technology Journal Database (VIP) and Wanfang Data resource system from February 2002 to November 2022 were searched, ollate and summarize the treatment of chronic bacterial prostatitis with traditional Chinese medicine, western medicine, integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine and the frequency of related drugs. Result: A total of 101 literatures were selected, including 68 literatures on integrated Chinese and western medicine treatment, 24 literatures on pure Chinese medicine treatment, 4 literatures on pure western medicine treatment, 3 literatures on traditional Chinese medicine plus external treatment, and 2 literatures on external treatment. Among them, 24 literatures used Qianlie Shutong Capsules, and 37 literatures used Levofloxacin. Conclusion: In the treatment of chronic bacterial prostatitis, Qianlie Shutong Capsules appears most frequently in the related literature of traditional Chinese medicine. It has the effects of clearing heat and promoting dampness, promoting blood circulation and dispelling blood stasis and soothing the liver and relieving depression are the most common clinical drugs of "essence turbidity" of dampness-heat stasis; in the related literature of western medicine, Levofloxacin appears most frequently, its antibacterial activity is strong, and it is not easy to produce drug resistance. The literature related to the treatment of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine accounts for 68% of the total search literature, so it can be seen that the treatment of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine is the current research hotspot in the treatment of chronic bacterial prostatitis.
