Abstract Objective:To observe the clinical effect of continuous curvilinear capsulorhexis( CCC) smallincision cataract surgery.Method:Contract patients who were treated in our hospital from January 2013 to June 2014 were retrospectively analyzed. Patients were evenly divided into the control group and the observation group. Coaxial phacoemulsification was performed in the control group, while CCC small-incision treatment was perform in the observation group. Clinical effects were observed. Result:The most common postoperative complication was corneal edema. The incidence of complications in the observations was significantly smaller than that of the control group (P<0.05). No statistical significant difference of postoperative and 3-month postoperative corrected visual acuity(CVA)
between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:When treated with CCC small-incision cataract surgery, the incidence of complications was smaller yet the ultrasound time was longer. Therefore, surgical modes may be selected according to specific clinical conditions.
