Abstract Objective:To investigate the clinical application and effect of amplitude integratedeleetreencephalogram( aEEG) in the premature infant brain( HIE).Method:40 cases of brain injury in preterm infantswhose gestational age was 28-36 weeks( HIE group)and 18 cases with fetal age of 28-36 weeks premature infants
without brain lesion( health group),who were admitted to our hospital in March 2013 to March 2014.In 48 hours afterpostpartum, infants in the two groups were monitored by electroencephalography, each successive detection ≥ 2 hours.Amplitude integrated EEG of two groups of preterm infants( aEEG) were analyzed and compared, the characteristics anddifference were observed.Result:All the aEEG features were found having significantly lower values in brain injuries
group(P<0.05), such as continuty, amplitude of lower bordercontinuty,sleep-wake cycling and all the features haveclosely association with gestational age. Conclusion:aEEG and brain damage in premature infants has close relationship, therefore,it can timely diagnosis of preterm infants who have brain damage and predict the condition.Because theadvantages of simple operation, less affected by environmental factors, easy to read,aEEG has important clinicalapplication value in the preterm infants with brain injury.
