Abstract Objective：To explore the relationship the expression of autophagy-related gene MARVELD1 inhuman glioma tissue. Method： Western blot and RT-PCR technology were used to detect the expressions of MARVELD1protein and mRNA in 33 cases of glioma tissue and 11 cases of normal brain tissue. Result：There were significantdifferences in the expressions of MARVELD1 protein and mRNA among normal brain tissue grade Ⅰ，Ⅱ，Ⅲ andⅣ glioma tissue（P<0.05）. The expressions of MARVELD1 protein and mRNA in grade Ⅲ and grade Ⅳ gliomatissue were lower than those in grade Ⅰ， grade Ⅱ glioma tissue and normal brain tissue（P<0.05）. The expressionof MARVELD1 protein in grade Ⅰ and grade Ⅱ glioma tissue was lower than that in normal brain tissue（P<0.05）.Conclusion： MARVELD1 of glioma malignancy judge has a certain significance， and provides a new target for the clinicaltreatment of glioma.
