Method:86 hospitalized patients with colorectal cancer who receivedlaparoscopic surgery were investigated. They were randomly divided into experimental group and control group,43 casesin each group. The experimental group were treated with conventional nursing care, the control group were treated withCQI. The patientssatisfaction and complications between the two groups at the end of the first week and the second weekwere compared.Result:The incidence of bleeding, infection, anastomotic fistula, colostomy ischemia or necrosis, and dermatitis in the experimental group was significantly lower than those of the control group, the differences werestatistically significant(P<0.05).The patients’ satisfaction in the experimental group and in the control group wasrespectively 81.4%,62.8% at the end of the first week, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Thepatients’ satisfaction in the experimental group and in the control group was respectively 88.4%,58.1% at the end ofthe second week, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:CQI can reduce the incidence of
complications in patients with colorectal cancer who received laparoscopic surgery, enhance the level of their satisfaction, which indicate CQI is a scientific and reasonable method of nursing management. It is worthy of being widely popularized inclinical application.
