Abstract Objective:To investigate the effect of nursing intervention to incidence of depression in patients with COPD.Method:60 patients with COPD were divided into intervention group( n=30) and control group( n=30) from Feb 2011 to Feb 2013.Incidences of depression, 1-year survival rate and satisfaction rate of nursing were compared.Result:Incidence of depression of the intervention group was significantly lower than that of the control group.Incidence of severe depression of the intervention group was significantly lower than that of the control group. There was no significant difference in 1-year survival rate between two groups.Satisfaction rate of nursing of the intervention group was significantly higher than that of the control group. Conclusion:Nursing intervention could decrease incidence of depression and improve satisfaction rate of nursing in patients with COPD, but not improve prognosis in patients with COPD.
