Abstract Hand-foot-mouth disease（HFMD） is a common infection disease in preschool children，it is usually caused by enterovirus 71 and coxsackievirus A16. HFMD had aroused peoples wide attention because the clinical features of involving wide area and much population.It has been noted that enterovirus 71 infection is more severe with serious complications and fatality.The progress on the prevent measures and treatment will be reviewed，and provide a theoretical basis for clinical prevention and treatment for HFMD.
