Abstract Objective：To observe the clinical effect of Sanjie Xiaoying Decoction in the treatment of nodular goiter.Method：According to randomized single blind control method， 120 cases of nodular goiter were divided into two groups， 60 cases in the treatment group were given Sanjie Xiaoying Decoction and euthyrox treatment， control of 60 cases were treated with euthyrox therapy.In January as a course， 3 courses were observed. The observation group before and after treatment and between groups after the treatment of thyroid tumor maximum diameter， goiter symptoms score， the overall effect of change and the group FT3， FT4， TSH. Result：The total effective rate in the treatment group was 83.3%，the total efficiency of control group was 65.0%，the two groups had significant difference（P<0.05）； the two groups after treatment of goiter symptoms scores decreased，compared with the group before treatment， the difference was significant（P<0.05），the treatment group therapy goiter in symptom scores than the control group after treatment decreased significantly，the difference was significant（P<0.05）；the two group after treatment，the maximum diameter of goiter were reduced compared with the group before treatment，the difference was significant（P<0.05），the treatment group after treatment compared with the maximum diameter of goiter the control group after treatment reduced significantly，the difference was significant（P<0.05）.Conclusion：Sanjie Xiaoying Decoction reduce obviously nodular goiter.
