Abstract Objective:To evaluate the impact of medicines policy on rational use of drugs by comparing the essential drugs and antibiotics.Method:A total of prescriptions in outpatients and emergency departments of hospital records,2011 was selected as a policy implementation group,2012 as part of the implementation of phase 1 group,2013 as part of the implementation of phase 2 group,before and after the implementation of the control study,the effectiveness and feasibility of the implementation of the policy were investigated.Result:The usage of prescriptions and essential drugs was 51% and 33% respectively.The implementation of phase 2 the intensity of use of antimicrobial agents for 38.67%,compared with the former of 73.06% were decreased significantly,the difference between the two groups had statistically significance(P<0.05).Type I incision surgery to prevent use of antibacterial drugs proportion had decreased significantly,the difference had statistically significance(P<0.01). Conclusion:Medicines policy and intervention measures have some effect on the promotion of rational drug use.
