Abstract Objective：To explore the effective method for treatment of ovarian cyst，so as to provide reference for related clinical research.Method：156 patients with ovarian cyst in our hospital from December 2009 to December 2012 were selected as research object.They were randomly divided into the treatment group（ 78 cases） and the control group（ 78 cases），respectively treated by laparoscopic operation and traditional open operation.The operation time，hospitalization time，temperature recovery time，recovery time of gastrointestinal function and the incidence of complications of the two groups were observed.Result：（1） The operation time，hospitalized time，recovery time of gastrointestinal function and body temperature recovery time of the treatment group was significantly better than that of the control group（P<0.05）；（2） The complication rate of the treatment group was significantly lower than that of the control group（χ2=6.2400，P<0.05）.Conclusion：Compared with traditional open operation treatment，the effect of laparoscopic operation in the treatment of ovarian cysts is better.It is one of the ideal choice for the clinical treatment of ovarian cyst.
