Abstract Objective：To explore the clinical curative effect acute cholecystitis laparoscopic cholecystectomy for for the treatment of senile calculous cholecystitis. Method：120 elderly patients with calculous cholecystitis in our hospital were chose，they were randomly divided into treatment group and control group.Treatment group was treated with laparoscopic cholecystectomy，the control group adopted open operation for treatment，two groups of patients with the clinical curative effect and operation situation were compared.Result：The total effective rate of treatment group was 96.67%，the control group was 71.67%，the difference between the two groups had statistical significance（ P<0.05）.In addition，the treatment group of operation time，intraoperative blood loss，postoperative exhaust time，postoperative hospital stay were superior to control group，the differences between the two groups had statistical significance（ P<0.05）.Conclusion：Laparoscopic cholecystectomy used in elderly acute calculous cholecystitis，clinical effect is good，worth extending application.
