Abstract Objective:To analyze and explore the relationship between single nucleotide polymorphisms of ApoC-Ⅲ promoter C-482T,T-455C and type 2 diabetes. Method:50 patients with type 2 diabetes who accepted treatment in our hospital from September 2012 to September 2014 were selected as the test group,50 health people who accepted health examination at the same time were selected as the control group. The single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs) of C-482T and T-455C of the two groups were detected. The frequency of genotype and allele of C-482T and T-455C in the two groups, the concentration of ApoC-Ⅲ in different genotypes of C-482T and T-455C were analyzed and compared. Result:The differences in the content of C,T in C-482T and T-455C of the two groups were not statistically significant(P>0.05).The differences in concentrations of ApoC-Ⅲ in different genotypes of C-482T and T-455C of the two groups were not statistically significant(P>0.05).In the control group, the concentration of ApoC-Ⅲ in genotype of -482TT was higher than that in genotype of -482CT,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:There is no relationship between single nucleotide polymorphisms of ApoC-Ⅲ promoter C-482T,T-455C and type 2 diabetes. But in the health people, the polymorphism of C-482T has a relationship with the level of serum ApoC-Ⅲ.
