Abstract Objective：To discuss the effect of community nursing services on the patients with type 2 diabetes by analysis and comparison.Method：Community health service centers as the community service mode， 68 patients with type 2 diabetes were divided into the experimental group and control group，34 cases in each group.The patients of control group were provided with routine nursing while the patients of experimental group were provided community medical service in addition to routine nursing.The nursing effects of two groups were analyzed and discussed. Result：After 3 and 6 months，the knowledge of prevention and treatment of diabetes， self-management ability， compliance behavior and adherence to regular exercise of experimental group were significantly better than those of control group，the value of glycosylated hemoglobin and fasting blood glucose of experimental group were lower than those of control group，the differences were statistically significant（P<0.05）. Conclusion： The community nursing mode has a positive effect on the patients with type 2 diabetes， enhancing the self-management of patients and promoting the living quality of the patients，it plays a positive role in alleviating and treating the type 2 diabetes.It is worth to promote in clinical.
