Abstract Objective: To explore the effect of systematic nursing intervention on external fixation stent therapy for patients suffering long-bone fracture of limbs to offer scientific guidance to help Clinical patients. Method: 68 cases of patients who received external fixation stent therapy after suffering long-bone fracture of limbs in our hospital from November 2011 to November 2012 were chosen as the objects, they were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group,34 cases in each group. The patients in the observation group were given routine nursing intervention and the others in the control group were given systematic nursing intervention.The clinical intervention effects, complication rates, the satisfaction degree and the information of nursing self-management evaluation in each group were observed and compared. Result:Clinical intervention effects, complication rates, the satisfaction degree and the information of nursing self-management evaluation in the observation group were significantly superior to those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);clinical intervention had great effect on patients in both group, and the condition of the observation group was superior to that of the control group after offering systematic nursing intervention, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion: Systematic nursing intervention in external fixation stent therapy for the patients suffering long-bone fracture of limbs has great effect on those patients, it can reduce the complications rates in patients, improve patients ’ satisfaction degree and clinical nursing effect. It is worthy of extensive clinical application.
