Abstract Objective: To analyze the effect of cluster nursing intervention on the compliance and nursing satisfaction of aerosol inhalation in children with pneumonia. Method: A total of 100 children with pneumonia treated in Zhangzhou Second Hospital from January 2021 to January 2022 were selected as the research objects, and were divided into the study group (n=50) and the control group (n=50) by random number table method. The control group received routine nursing, while the study group received cluster nursing intervention on the basis of routine nursing. The compliance and nursing satisfaction of aerosol inhalation in children with pneumonia were compared between two groups. Result: After nursing, the atomization treatment tolerance time of the study group was significantly higher than that of the control group, the atomization interruption rate was significantly lower than that of the control group, with statistical differences (P<0.05). The total nursing satisfaction of the study group (92.0%) was significantly higher than that of the control group (76.0%), the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The disappearance time of clinical symptoms and antipyretic time of the study group were significantly shorter than those of the control group, and the length of hospital stay was significantly lower than that of the control group, with statistical differences (P<0.05). Conclusion: The application of cluster nursing intervention in children with pneumonia can enhance the compliance of aerosol inhalation therapy, improve nursing satisfaction, shorten the disappearance time of clinical symptoms and the length of hospital stay, which is worthy of clinical attention.
