Abstract Objective: To explore the application value of Chinese medicine wrap hot compress on Shenque acupoint to prevent uroschesis after operation of mixed hemorrhoids. Method: A total of 86 patients with mixed hemorrhoids treated in People's Hospital Affiliated to Fujian University of Traditional Chinese Medicine were selected as observation objects. The patients were treated from April 2021 to April 2022 and divided into the control group and the observation group by single blind method, with 43 cases in each group. The control group was given routine intervention after operation, and the observation group was given Shenque acupoint intervention with Chinese medicine wrapped in hot compress on the basis of routine intervention. The incidence of uroschesis, urinary catheterization rate, time of first urination, volume of first urination, residual urine volume of bladder, urinary smooth degree score and abdominal symptom score were compared between the two groups. Result: The incidence of uroschesis in the observation group was 2.33%, significantly lower than 18.60% in the control group (P<0.05); the urinary catheterization rate of the observation group was 6.98%, significantly lower than 25.58% of the control group (P<0.05); the first urination time of the observation group was (2.19±0.45) h, significantly shorter than (3.64±0.57) h of the control group (P<0.001); the first urination volume of the observation group was (228.38±29.64) mL, significantly higher than (184.76±28.57) mL of the control group (P<0.001); the bladder residual urine volume in the observation group was (75.18±14.07) mL significantly lower than (124.42±15.28) mL in the control group (P<0.001); the urine smoothness score of the observation group was (0.91±0.11) scores, significantly lower than (1.18±0.16) scores of the control group (P<0.001); the abdominal symptom score of the observation group was (0.89±0.12) scores significantly lower than (1.15±0.17) scores of the control group (P<0.001). Conclusion: The application of Chinese medicine wrap hot compress Shenque acupoint can effectively prevent postoperative uroschesis of mixed hemorrhoids, shorten the time of first urination, increase the volume of first urination, reduce the residual urine volume of bladder, promote smooth urination and relieve abdominal symptoms.
