Abstract Objective: To explore the application effect of nutritional support intervention in patients with cerebral artery stenosis and its influence on nutritional status. Method: A total of 102 patients with cerebral artery stenosis admitted to Tongji Hospital, Tongji Medical College of HUST from July 2020 to July 2022 were randomly divided into two groups, with 51 patients in each group. The control group received conventional intervention, and the study group received nutritional support intervention based on the control group. Nutritional status, immunoglobulin (Ig) M, IgG, IgA levels, psychological status and complications were compared between the two groups. Result: Before intervention, there were no significant differences in the levels of transferrin, prealbumin and serum total protein between the two groups (P>0.05). After intervention, the levels of transferrin, prealbumin and serum total protein in the study group were better than those in the control group (P<0.05). Before intervention, there were no significant differences in the levels of IgM, IgG and IgA between the two groups (P>0.05). After intervention, the levels of IgM, IgG and IgA in study group were higher than those in control group (P<0.05). Before intervention, there were no significant differences in the scores of psychological state between the two groups (P>0.05). After intervention, the scores of psychological state of the study group were lower than those of the control group (P<0.05). The complication rate of the study group was lower than that of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: Applying nutritional support intervention to patients with cerebral artery stenosis can improve immune function and nutritional status, relieve bad emotions and reduce complications.
