| Effect of Laparoscopic-assisted Radical Gastrectomy on Advanced Gastric Cancer and Its Influence on Postoperative Inflammatory Indexes |

Abstract Objective: To analyze the effects of laparoscopic-assisted radical gastrectomy (LARG) for the treatment of advanced gastric cancer (AGC) and its impacts on postoperative inflammatory indicators. Method: A total of 68 patients with AGC who were admitted to Fengcheng People's Hospital from May 2020 to August 2022 were selected as the subjects of this study. They were divided into the conventional group (34 patients, with laparotomy for gastric cancer) and the observation group (34 patients, with LARG treatment) by random number table method. The application value of the two surgical schemes was compared and analyzed. Result: There were no significant differences between the two groups in the preoperative inflammatory index, gastric function index and the number of lymph node dissection (P>0.05). The incision length in the observation group was shorter than that in the conventional group, intraoperative blood loss was less than that of the conventional group, postoperative complication rate, postoperative inflammatory indexes and gastric function indexes in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the conventional group (P<0.05). Postoperative exhaust time, bed rest time, normal diet time and hospital stay time in the observation group were significantly shorter than those in the conventional group (P<0.05). The complete response rate in observation group was significantly higher than that in conventional group (P<0.05). The operation time in the observation group was significantly longer than that in conventional group (P<0.05). Conclusion: LARG can achieve ideal results in the treatment of AGC patients.
