Abstract Objective：To study the clinical effect of transurethral prostatic electricity cut method in the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia（BPH）.Method：From February 2013 to February 2014，the clinical data of 96 BPH patients were analyzed and they were divided into observation group and control group，48 cases of observation group was given for the treatment of the urethra prostate electricity cut，the control were given line open surgery treatment，the curative effect， the surgical treatment indexes and recovery of two groups were observed and compared.Result：The total effective rate of treatment group was 97.92%， significantly higher than the 83.33% in the control group（P<0.05）.The operation time，intraoperative blood loss，catheter indwelling time and hospital stay in the observation group were significantly less than those of the control group， with statistical significance（ P<0.05）.After treatment，IPSS， QOL and PVR index levels of the observation group were significantly lower than before the treatment，and Q-Max level was significantly higher than before the treatment，with statistical significance（P<0.05）.Conclusion：The treatment of BPH are treated by transurethral prostatic cutting， with advantages of shorter operation time， less intraoperative blood loss， and can effectively improve the patient’s clinical symptoms， curative effect is distinct， worthy of promotion.
