Abstract Objective：To observe the clinical curative effect of traditional Chinese medicine（TCM） combined with acupuncture in the treatment of cardiac neurosis. Method：157 outpatients and inpatients with cardiac neurosis admitted to our department from October 2012 to January 2015 were selected as research objects.They were treated with psychological intervention and randomly divided into the control group（the Deanxit group） for 68 cases and the treatment group（（the Chinese medicine group） for 89 cases.The treatment group was treated with traditional Chinese medicine（ TCM） combined with acupuncture，the control group was treated with oral Deanxit， the course of treatment was 8 weeks.The clinical curative effect，TCM symptom score and psychological mood before and after treatment between the two groups were observed，the psychological mood including Hamilton anxiety scale（ HAMA） and Hamilton depression scale（ HAMD） scores.Result：After treatment，the total effective rate of the treatment group was 50.56%，which was significantly higher than 29.41% of the control group，the difference was statistically significant（ χ2=7.1075，P=0.0077）.The TCM symptom score of the two groups after treatment were significantly lower than before treatment（P<0.001），and the TCM symptom score of the treatment group was significantly lower than the control group，the difference was statistically significant（P<0.01）.The HAMA and HAMD scores of the two groups after treatment were significantly lower than before treatment，and those of the treatment group were significantly lower than the control group，the differences were statistically significant（P<0.01 or P<0.001）.Conclusion：Traditional Chinese medicine combined with acupuncture on cardiac neurosis has good clinical curative effect，is worthy of promotion.
