Study on the Relationship between Concentration Changes of PLA-2,COX-2 and Preterm Labor

Abstract  Objective: To study the relationship between serum PLA-2,COX-2 and premature.Method:34 pregnant women with threatened premature labor in our hospital from July 2013 to December 2013 were selected as the research group.32 normal pregnant women who had the same gestational age with the research group were selected as the control group at the same time.The levels of PLA-2 and COX-2 in serum of the two groups were detected through enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. The relationship between the concentrations of PLA-2,COX-2 and premature was analyzed. Result:The concentrations of PLA-2 and COX-2 of different pregnants in the research group were all higher than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05). The concentrations of PLA-2 and COX-2 increased according with the increase of pregnant. The concentrations of these two indexes had no correlation.Conclusion:The concentrations of PLA-2 and COX-2 in maternal serum can be used as an index to predict preterm delivery.
