Abstract Objective：To investigate applications and care efficacy in patients with advanced pancreatic head carcinoma. Method：Microwave therapy was employed in forty-seven patients with unresectable advanced pancreatic head carcinoma ，and careful nursing intervention was offered . The efficacy was recorded. Result：There were 18 casesachieving pain relief；9 cases achieving significant improvement of jaundice；7 cases achieving bloating relief； 12 cases achieving significant improvement of discomfortsymptoms. Conclusion：Microwave therapy and careful nursing intervention could relieve effectively pain and discomfort in patients with advanced pancreatic head carcinoma.
