Abstract Objective:To study the effect of two methods of diaper creams and sanguisorba oil to prevent crissum skin damage from enternal nutrition cid-associated diarrhea in ICU.Method:From June 2012 to June 2013,there were 80 ICU patients with enternal nutrition cid-associated diarrhea chosen in our study. They were randomly divided into two groups. One group was treated with diaper creams, and the other group was treated with sanguisorba oil. Each group enrolled 40 patients separately. The two groups of patiens were treated according to operational standard. Observed and compared the incidence, occurrence time and severity of crissum skin damage. Result:The incidence of crissum skin damage of patients treated with diaper creams was 40.0%(16/40), and patients treated with sanguisorba oil was 12.5%(5/40).The difference was significant(P<0.05).The occurrence time of crissum skin damage of patients treated with diaper creams was( 2.46±1.95)d and patients treated with sanguisorba oil was( 2.13±1.21)d.The occurrence time of crissum skin damage in two groups was no significant difference. The degree of crissum skin damage of patients treated with diaper creams was( 3.29±0.52)points and patients treated with sanguisorba oil was( 1.39±0.15)points.The degree of crissum skin damage of patients treated with diaper creams was significantly higher than patients with sanguisorba oil (P<0.05). Conclusion:The treatment of sanguisorba oil can reduce the incidence and severity of skin damage, which is effective method to prevent crissum skin damage caused by enternal nutrition cid-associated diarrhea.
