Abstract Objective：To investigate the clinical characteristics and treatment methods of tuberculosis patients with diabetes mellitus.Method：In our hospital from November 2012 to November 2013 40 pulmonary tuberculosis patients with diabetes mellitus were selected for observation group， and the same period 40 tuberculosis patients with non-diabetic for control group， the two groups were taking anti-TB treatment， the clinical features， diagnosis and treatment methods of the two groups were analyzed.Result：Acute onset patients， worsening fast， positive rate； observation group patients after glycemic control， can effect consistent with the control group.In the observation group， there were mostly 5 to 6 lung diseases， and pulmonary mostly cheese-like lesions， accounting for 55.00%.Conclusion：TB patients with diabetes must be treated early， timely glycemic control， tuberculosis can alleviate symptoms， improve tuberculosis merger long-term prognosis of diabetic patients， and thus effectively control the spread of tuberculosis.
