Abstract Objective：To explore the clinical effect of braces traction in children with jaw fracture.Method：The clinical data of 31 children with jaw fracture in our hospital from July 2012 to July 2014 were retrospectively analyzed.All patients were given the treatment of braces traction.Result：The total effective rate was 90.32%.The scores of plaque index，debris index and gingival index after treatment were higher than those before treatment，the differences were statistically significant（P<0.05）.All patients had no infection and occlusal disorder.During the follow-up there were no patients with growth restriction and secondary deformity.Conclusion：Braces traction in children with jaw fracture can obtain good effect.
