Abstract Objective： To meet patient demand for health education in the perioperative period for post-natal treatment， care， outcomes， breastfeeding guidance fully prepared based on the overall care. Method： According to the physiological characteristics and recovery of puerperal women， the physiological characteristics， maternal postpartum recovery and the health education process， the use of slides and health education mission alone， for the period prior to surgery， during and after various stages of the mission. 46 cesarean patients in January 2013 were randomly divided into two groups， control group used the traditional clinical nursing method， the observation group received health education，nursing process method， comparing nursing effect of the two groups. Result： The observation group on maternal health knowledge level was higher than that of the control group， the satisfaction of nursing quality was higher than that of the control group， the differences were statistically significant（ P<0.05）. Conclusion： Cesarean section around the application of health education and nursing method is better than the traditional nursing operation period， and improve the quality of medical service and patient satisfaction.
