Abstract Objective:To study the correlation between obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrom and throat reflux at night. Method:58 patients with OSAHS in our hospital from September 2012 to September 2013 were selected as the research objects. The situation of sleep all night, the pH of the throat and the esophagus pressure were monitored. The relationship between OSAHS and LPR was analyzed. Result:Among the 58 patients,a total of 17 patients were with LPR.In the LPR patients, the severity of OSAHS had a negative correlation with the average pH of the throat(P<0.05). The average pressure and the minimum pressure of the esophageal in patients with LPR were lower than those in patients without LPR,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05). The AHI,AHTI and non-central AHTI had a negative correlation with the average pressure of the esophageal all night(P<0.05). Conclusion:Severity OSAHS patients is closely related to the throat reflux happened at night.OSAHS patients prone to occurring gastroesophageal reflux, which resulting in a decline in pH value of the throat.
