Abstract Objective：To explore and sum up the ultrasonic image characteristics of small mall breast cancer（ smaller than 1 cm）.Method：Using high frequency color Doppler， the characteristics of 2-D ultrasound and color Doppler in 46 cases with small breast cancer were retrospectively analyzed which were confirmed after operation.Result：It was found that small breast carcinoma sonographic features was shown in the following aspects：irregular shape， spiculation sign， aspect ratio（ >0.7）， heterogeneous/lower internal echo， micro calcification， entering blood flow and high resistance type flow
spectrum.Conclusion：Applying high frequency color Doppler ultrasound， combined with the correct scanning technique and the skill， the characteristics of small breast ultrasound image can be shown much clearer， which is helpful to improve the diagnostic accuracy rate of small breast cancer.
