| Effect of Kuntai Capsules on Menopausal Syndrome After Endometrial Carcinoma Surgery and Its Influence on E2, FSH, β-EP and 5-HT |

Abstract Objective: To explore the clinical effect of Kuntai Capsules on menopausal syndrome after endometrial carcinoma surgery. Method: A total of 94 patients with menopausal syndrome after endometrial carcinoma radical surgery who visited the Gynaecology Clinic of Qingyuan People's Hospital from January 2021 to May 2022 were selected and divided into two groups according to the random number table method, with 47 cases in each group. The control group was given general treatment, and the observation group was treated with Kuntai Capsules on the basis of the control group. The clinical effects, symptom improvement, sleep quality, life quality, neuro-endocrine indexes changes and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Result: The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group (P<0.05). After 4, 8 and 12 weeks of treatment, the Kupperman menopausal index (KMI), menopause-specific quality of life questionnaire (MENQOL) and Pittsburgh sleep quality index (PSQI) in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, while the levels of 5-hydroxytryptamine (5-HT) and β-endorphin (β-EP) were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). There were no significant differences in the levels of estradiol (E2) and follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) between the two groups before and after treatment (P>0.05). There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups (P>0.05). Conclusion: Kuntai Capsules has achieved good results in the treatment of menopausal syndrome after endometrial carcinoma surgery, and the clinical symptoms of patients have been significantly alleviated, and the neuroendocrine function has been significantly improved, which has high clinical significance.
