Abstract Objective: To explore the prognostic evaluation of serum lipoprotein associated phospholipase A2 (Lp-PLA2) and interleukin-6 (IL-6) levels on intravenous thrombolysis with Alteplase (rt-PA) in patients with acute cerebral infarction. Method: From January 2019 to January 2022, 60 patients with acute cerebral infarction treated by rt-PA intravenous thrombolysis in the General Hospital of Pingxiang Mining Group Co., Ltd. were selected as the study subjects. The prognosis was assessed by the modified Rankin scale (mRS), based on the mRS score, they were divided into the good prognosis group (mRS score ≤2 points, n=41) and the poor prognosis group (mRS score >2 points, n=19). Serum Lp-PLA2 and IL-6 levels were compared between the two groups. Pearson correlation was used to analyze the correlation between serum Lp-PLA2, IL-6 levels and prognosis of patients. On this basis, the evaluation value of serum Lp-PLA2, IL-6 levels for poor prognosis was further determined. Result: Serum Lp-PLA2 and IL-6 levels in good prognosis group were significantly lower than those in poor prognosis group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Serum Lp-PLA2 and IL-6 levels were positively correlated with prognosis in patients with acute cerebral infarction (P<0.05). The predictive value of serum Lp-PLA2 + IL-6 for poor prognosis of cerebral infarction after thrombolytic therapy was higher than those of Lp-PLA2 and IL-6 alone, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion: By dynamically monitoring the changes of serum Lp-PLA2 and IL-6 levels of patients, the prognosis of rt-PA intravenous thrombolysis therapy can be effectively evaluated, which is worthy of attention.
