Abstract Objective: To explore the predictive value of serum angiopoietin-1 (Ang-1) and angiopoietin-2 (Ang-2) ratio on the prognosis of elderly patients with severe community-acquired pneumonia (SCAP). Method: A retrospective analysis was performed on 155 patients diagnosed with SCAP and treated with complete data from December 2018 to December 2020 in General Hospital of the Northern Theater of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, taking 28 d of treatment as the observation period, the patients were divided into survival group and death group according to the conditions after treatment, with 121 cases in survival group and 34 cases in death group.
