Colonoscopy Screening Analysis of Colorectal Cancer in Lixia District of Jinan from 2020 to 2022 |

Abstract Objective: To analysis the results of colonoscopy screening for colorectal cancer in Lixia district of Jinan from 2020 to 2022. Method: The electronic colonoscopy was performed on residents aged 40 to 70 years in Lixia District of Jinan and detected intestinal lesions were taken pathology. Result: From 2020 to 2022, a total of 8 046 respondents participated in colonoscopy screening for colorectal cancer. 3 906 cases of intestinal lesions (polyps, adenomas, carcinomas) were detected, the detection rate was 48.55%, including 1 508 cases (38.61%) of non-adenomatous polyps, 1 891 cases (48.41%) of unprogressive adenoma, 485 cases (12.42%) of progressive adenoma and 22 cases (0.56%) of colorectal cancer. The detection rate of colorectal cancer in men was 4.41 times higher than that of women (P<0.001). As the age increased, the detection rate of intestinal lesions increased (P<0.001), and the detection rate of the 60-70 years group was 1.49 times higher than that of the 40-49 years group. Conclusion: Colorectal cancer screening can effectively detect cancer and precancerous lesions at an early stage, and is of great significance for the early diagnosis and treatment of colorectal cancer.
